Les Contamines Montjoie - THE village RESORT

At the foot of Mont-Blanc at 1164 m altitude, Les Contamines Montjoie is an authentic village in the Haute-Savoie mountains where life is good.

The traditional mountain charm of the various hamlets associated with the surrounding wooded peaks classified as Contamines Nature Reserve, create an ideal balance for recharging your batteries. The panorama is exceptional in summer and winter with the Aravis range, the Beaufortain valley, Mont Joly, the Aiguille Nord de Tré-la-Tête at 3892 m and the Mont-Blanc Massif.

In the winter,

many activities allow you to enjoy the village of Contamines Montjoie: snowshoeing, cross-country skiing in the alpine forests, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, skating, watering, biathlon, ... The Contamines-Hauteluce ski area covers 120 km of slopes of different exposures and different levels of difficulty suitable for all downhill skiing and snowboarding practices, including 2 areas for beginners in the center of the village.

Travelling around between the hamlets is possible via a free shuttle service to the ski lifts. You can also try out the more typical horse-drawn carriage rides.

Les Contamines Montjoie, a Famille Plus labeled resort, becomes an ideal playground for sport and green culture for the whole family: hiking or mountain biking, numerous baroque churches and rich cultural monuments to visit.

More than 20 activities are available for young and old alike at the Pontet leisure park on more than 30 hectares, ideally located: adventure course, lake swimming, tennis, mini-golf, horse riding, archery, trampoline , climbing, donkey rides, mini-golf, pedal boats, biathlon,… Many activities and events are organized.
