Passy
is a mid-mountain town with more than 10,000 inhabitants. Made up of many hamlets and villages such as Bay, Charousse, les Ruttets, Passy, Marlioz, Chedde, la Motte, Joux, la Frasse l'Abbaye and les Plagnes. The forest extends over nearly 2000 hectares offering a green landscape of fir trees all year round. The Passy lake is home to a real seaside base camp with multiple nautical activities, games, fun sports courses, etc. The Nature Reserve House of Passy allows you to discover all the wonders of the surrounding Mont-Blanc massif: the circuits of the Tour des Fiz (with the sporting event the Trail du Tour des Fiz), the lunar site of the Platé Desert, the Green Lake and the Chedde Waterfall.
The Passy Plaine-Joux ski area includes 12 km of slopes, a beginners area, 2 snowshoe loops, and a cross-country ski loop. Among the various accessible activities, let us note sledging and snowtubing, tennis, swimming in swimming pools and mountain lakes, via ferrata, tree climbing, hiking, paintball, rafting, canyoning, horse riding, Mountain biking, climbing, paragliding, ski flight, dog sledding, indoor skiing and indoor shows.
Sallanches
extends from 515 m to 2,749 meters above sea level. It is a town of nearly 45,000 inhabitants, bordered by the Aravis massif, the Mont-Blanc massif and the Faucigny massif. Sallanches offers the advantages of the city while being in the mountains, in the heart of the Mont-Blanc region, with many services and shops accessible all year round, a cinema, a casino, active and dynamic sports and cultural associations, a skatepark.
The Cordon-Sallanches ski area includes 9 ski slopes, an area for beginner skiers and 2 tobogganing areas.
